THOR’S CAREER

Throughout our lives, God blesses us with “heart dogs” – if you’re lucky, more than once in a lifetime. Thor is my heart, and at about 8 weeks of age made me his “person.” From that point on (as is the Rottweiler way), I am the person he looks to and for, and for whom he turns himself inside out!

From a very young age, we knew we had something special in Thor, both in the ring and for our family. Thor has more than lived up to our expectations! We took him to his first show at 6 months and 3 days of age, where he promptly won back-to-back majors. From there on, he was pretty much unstoppable. By the time he was 15 months old, he won his first Best in Specialty and achieved Grand Champion status, as well as multiple Group placements. He has gotten rave reviews from many judges, saying that he is a beautiful dog who doesn’t put a foot down wrong. 

Thor is a joy wherever he is. He can go to the kids football games and have small children climb all over him, and the next day hit a show and give me everything I ask of him. He is more than his wins in the ring; he is part of our family. His intelligence, loyalty and sense of humor are what we make him my heart; his showiness and extreme Rottweiler type make him an excellent show dog. He is just, overall, a truly remarkable Rottweiler.

THOR was named the American Rottweiler Club's TOP PRODUCING SIRE for 2016 and 2017 and, as of January, 2019, has sired 30 champions in limited breeding!!
